Short-Term Mission Trip - Joni & Friends Camp

  • MISSION SPRINGS CAMPS & CONFERENCE CENTER (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

For many years, Venture has sent short-term mission trips to Joni & Friends Camp, and those who have gone have come back from the camps have been touched deeply by the people with a disability and their families. In addition to sharing and caring for them, you will also have a great time participating in great activities like square dancing, swimming, playing water games, and many other activities.

Short-term missionaries eat meals with their assigned family and join with them in most program activities. After some short-term missionary free time in the afternoon (1-1/2 -2 hrs), you will rejoin your family for the evening meal and activities. No previous experience with disability? No problem. We fully train every short-term missionary for 1-1/2 days before the Family Retreat begins, and there is constant support throughout the week. This is a great opportunity to serve others and grow in your own faith; it's a life changing experience!
