Through Jeremiah’s Promise, support youth who have aged out of foster care, or are soon to age out. Target young adults who desire a college education or a certificate program. Volunteers would guide, mentor, and support them on their path to college.
Be a Safe Family
Volunteer to become a Host Family that provides short term respite care for children in need. This ministry aims at reducing child abuse and abandonment by coming alongside families in crisis. Find out how to become a Safe family at Help One Child.
Be a Foster Family
There are more than 800 children in need of out-of-home placements in Santa Clara County. Our partner ministry, Foster the Bay, is there to help guide you through the application & training process with a goal of placing children in loving and secure homes.
Be a Camp Counselor
Help One Child holds Signs of Hope camps for foster children at Mission Springs every Summer. Volunteer through Help One Child
Love Boxes and Bags
Through Help One Child, provide a little joy and practical help by making care packages and bags for children transitioning into out of home placements.
Be an Advocate
Volunteers are Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) who are matched with dependent children to ensure that the needs and best interests of foster children in the program are met. They will also serve as friends and mentors.
Focus on training and encouraging parents who are trying to help foster, adopted, and at-risk children establish healthy attachments within the family. Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursdays at 7pm in the Ranch House (across from the church office). Childcare by reservation.
