Under the direction of CFO, and working closely with the Director of Facilities, provide project management support and expertise on building renovation projects including major renovation improvements, minor alterations, and space and furniture reconfigurations. Responsible for managing multiple construction and space planning projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time and cost to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction.
The Preschool Ministry Specialist is responsible for ensuring adequate volunteer staffing of Preschool ministry and ensuring that facility is organized and set up for weekend services and special events.
The Nursery Ministry Specialist is responsible for ensuring adequate volunteer staffing of Nursery’s ministry and ensuring that facility is organized and set up for weekend services and special events.
The Family Ministry Coordinator will work alongside the Family Pastor to coordinate all ministry communication and ministry function. This role would serve as the administrator or “day to day” functioning of the Family Ministry Team.
The role of the Pastor of Children’s Ministries is to oversee the Children’s ministry from Nursery through grade by providing leadership, development, and direction for the Children’s Ministry staff and volunteers aligning the direction of Children’s ministry to the overall Family Ministry mission and direction.
The High School and College Pastor is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the spiritual growth and development of high school and college students (grades 9-12 and ages 18-24) and volunteers. This includes leadership of weekly programs and periodic special events (camps, conferences, trips, service projects, etc.)
The In Community Associate provides support to the following ministries: Life Groups, Young Professionals, Weekend Groups, and Discipleship Classes. This role is the main point of contact to assist with requests ensuring the appropriate connection. The In Community Associate will be responsible for managing the logistics for events and maintaining the CRM/data base and reporting metrics for these groups and classes.
Venture is seeking a part-time (20-29 hours per week) Film Producer to join the creative team. The Film Producer will work with the Film Lead to produce impactful short films and creative video elements for weekend services, as well as producing the “Venture Minute” video announcements, videos clips and creative promotional pieces for social media, and online campus video materials, including worship song videos, host segments, and more. This is a collaborative role on our team with creative input on various film/video projects along with the weekly assigned responsibilities.
The Graphic Design Lead is a contract position which will give oversight to the artistic expression of our church. Expertise in multiple disciplines of design (marketing & print, layout, web, screen, etc.) is a must, as is the ability to design for multiple demographics while keeping a consistent visual voice and a high bar for quality. This is a position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who is creative and on the cutting edge of design trends and techniques.
The primary focus of this position is to work with the In Community Team, Outreach Team, and other VCC teams to develop a thriving and multiplying microsite ministry throughout the Bay Area. This person will be responsible to create teams of volunteers and mobilize them to missional engagement. This position requires strong leadership, team building/recruiting volunteers, administration, excellent people skills and an ability to cast vision in a fast paced environment. This is a highly innovative and vital role to the implementation of the vision of Venture Christian Church.
Do you like rocking babies to sleep or playing peekaboo with toddlers? We have the job for you! Our nursery/toddler rooms are looking for several part-time Nursery/Childcare staff. You will be a loving, competent, spirit-led staff presence to care for our youngest members. You will be punctual and reliable. Care will be provided while their mothers/caretakers attend Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS). Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, have experience working with young children and pass a background check.
Start dates are early September 2017, with one mandatory meeting to be held in August. Hours are Friday mornings 9am-12pm. Additional hours may be possible Wednesday and/or Thursday mornings and during other church events.
