Parent Community Night

Dear Parents,

2016 is off to a great start and we have been having a blast watching your students grow closer to Christ and each other. Our focus in February is two-fold, first, is to walk with students through how worship and prayer can bring you closer to God. So on Tuesdays, we are excited to have a few guest speakers join us! Secondly, On Sundays, in a series called Summit, we'll be exploring the stories of those who spoke with God and how we can take example from their lives. 


Parent Community Night

On Sunday February 21, 2016 the Venture High School Ministry will be hosting our 2nd Parent Community Night entitled; “An Evening with the Wise Guys”. This night will take place in Venue 2 from 7-8:30pm and is intended to create new friendships with other high school families, deepen existing relationships, to provide an invitation to any high school parents we know (neighbors, co-workers, family members, etc) and learn positive parenting practices through the difficult teenage years.  The format for the night will be much like our 1st Parent Community night, in which our speakers will be in panel form. 

As a special treat for this evening, we are so excited to announce that Rick and Kathy Linamen, and Mike and Sally Walitsch have agreed to teach us from their experiences.  All of these families are incredibly wise and have parented through the difficult teenage years.  We will have much to learn!

(If you are sending a student to Meadow Ranch and another to Ponderosa we must have two separate checks as they are two separate accounts. Thank you)

3/13 spots will be made available on first-come, first-served basis.  Forms will be available by email or available in the reception area of the church during the week. You will receive confirmation of a spot via email.



This trip to North West Haiti Christian Mission will take place June 20th through the 30th and cost $1,900. The organization is involved in a number of different ministries that will be available to our team. These ministries range from homeless ministry, to special needs ministry, to orphan care, to justice ministry.
