BIBLE ART JOURNALING
Come join a class focused on how to worship the Lord through scripture and art. You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy this class. We will show you techniques to turn a scripture into a beautiful picture, help you remember where your favorite verses are found in the Bible, and, most importantly, spend time with the Lord. As we enter the season of Thanksgiving, we will be focusing on meaningful verses that inspire us to give thanks to our one and only Creator and heavenly Father. It is not always easy to give thanks especially when we are going through tough times. We hope that this class will help you to remember that God has a plan and while it may not always be what we expected, His plan is always best and we are to be thankful even when we don’t understand it.
Materials needed: Pencil, eraser, black pen, ruler, Bible, colored pencils (the rest will be provided).
Merlynn Bianco, Janet Fritz, and Allie Fritz are three generations of Christian women who are quite crafty and have a love for scrapbooking. After attending a workshop with Shanna Noel, the founder of Illustrated Faith in January of 2016, we knew we had to share our love of Bible art journaling.
In this class we will discover the heart of worship, as well as learn the practical, hands on skills you'll need to lead worship in small groups and large environments. This class is open to current worship leaders at Venture, as well as those with a serious interest in joining the team.
