Life Groups

We desire to grow in this group by meditating on God's Word, attuning to the Holy Spirit, and learning how to love others well. Last year, we read and discussed the One Year Chronological Bible by Tyndale. This year, we are rotating teaching one another from Biblical books or topics of interest. (Some members are going through the One Year Chronological Bible again, so sometimes this will be brought up in discussion.) Apart from our potluck dinner that starts at 6 pm, no week looks the same. When we gather, we have *very* lively discussions about anything that is pressing on our hearts and minds - no question or topic is too extreme or controversial! We occasionally (need to) make room for the quiet ones in our group to speak. While we do have a number of elementary aged children in our group, we do not explicitly have child care, as we allow the kids to play with one another within eye sight or earshot during our discussion times. We are an eclectic, mixed generational group that is unafraid of raw honesty, intense emotions, and nerdy deep theological discussions even if we disagree - all punctuated with good humor, of course.
