Life Group: Venture Parenting Ministry (Sunday 2:30pm)
We are a group of families with kids ranging from toddlers to tweeners. We meet at 2:30pm Sundays at the park benches in the small children's playground. We meet, connect, eat, and discuss parenting materials such as Doug Field's "Intentional Parenting," Dr. Tim Kimmel's "Grace Based Parenting," and Ted Tripp's "Shepherding a Child's Heart." However, these are tertiary tools compared to the Holy Spirit and the Living Bible. We will examine Scripture and how it relates to parenting today. "May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." (Psalms 115:14-15 NIV)
