Meet our leaders

Tim Lundy
Senior Pastor

A graduate of Crichton College and Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.),   Tim Lundy has been in ministry for three decades. He is currently serving as the Senior Pastor at Venture Christian Church in Los Gatos, California, and previously gave pastoral leadership to Christ Community Church and Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. Additionally, Tim served as Chaplain for the International Community School and Pastor of the International Community Church in Bangkok, Thailand, and was Interim Director of Spiritual Formation at the Center for Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary.

He has been married since 1990 to his best friend, Lea, and they love all the activity and excitement of a large and lively family, including seven children, two sons-in-law, and five grandchildren: Lindsey LaFleur (with husband Matt and children Emmerich, Will, and Daisy), Mallory Connell (with husband David and children Doc and Ruby), and Kate, Drew, Kent, Blake, and Jude Lundy.

Cheryl Roffey
Senior Director, Human Resources

Cheryl has been married to the love of her life and best friend, Robert, for over 35 years. They live in San Jose and are blessed with three children, two sons-in-law, and one granddaughter: Erin and Cameron Cobb with their daughter Audrey, Merissa and Joe Silveira, and Cameron.

Prior to joining Venture in 2019, Cheryl held a variety of positions in the high tech sector. Cheryl has a diverse background having held positions in Human Resources, Investor Relations, and Marketing Communications in the high tech sector. As a leader in progressive performance management, Cheryl is passionate about connecting people’s gifting, aspirations, and interests to the needs of the organization.

Michael Tibke
Senior Director, Facilities Operations

Venture’s Director of Operations, Michael Tibke, has been married to his wife Ericka for 20 years, raising two sons (Ethan and Gabriel). With 20 plus years of facilities and operational experience (ranging from the Semiconductor Industry to the Department of Defense and Global Cybersecurity), Michael now oversees various operational needs here at Venture (Facilities, Security/Safety, Traffic Control, Medical, and Information Technology). He is passionate about exploring new sustainable concepts and finding practical operational ways to leverage them for the church.

Tanya Nguyena
Director of Finance

Tanya was born in Vietnam, and came to America as a war refugee with her parents and eight siblings. A graduate of Penn State with a degree in Finance, Tanya previously worked at IBM and Infineon Technologies. Before coming to Venture, Tanya taught Sunday school and worked with the young adults ministry at several bilingual Vietnamese evangelical churches in the Bay Area.

She has been married to her husband Don for 19 years, and has two teenage sons Jacob and Austin. Outside of work, Tanya is an active baseball and Boy Scout mom to her sons. To relax, Tanya enjoys watching ’80s music videos with her husband, and playing Scrabble with her children.
