One of the biggest challenges for families with a child of special needs is finding time to grow their own faith. At Venture, we have created HisKids to meet the needs and nurture the faith of the entire family, based on these guiding principles:
HOPE – Bringing hope and encouragement to families in the midst of unique situations.
INCLUSION – Breaking down barriers and building bridges for people with special needs to become an active part of Venture Christian Church.
SERVICE – Providing opportunities for families with special needs to use their gifts in service.
HisKids is for children ages 3 – 5th grade, and meets at 5pm on Saturdays. During this service, we provide two options to care for the safety and well-being of your child:
-A buddy can be assigned to accompany your child in a regular Kid’s Ministry classroom.
-Or your child can attend a structured separate class with a consistent routine.
If you’d like to register your child for HisKids, email us here.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14). He said this because children were important to Him and because He wanted to bless them. So we encourage parents to bring their children to Jesus at an early age and teach them His ways.
We’re excited for this important moment in your life as a parent. Parenting is the most difficult job in life, but it’s also the most rewarding. Our Parent & Child Dedications typically happens twice a year. Contact Michele for additional details and to schedule your child for our next dedication service.
At Venture, we believe baptism is the next step after becoming a Follower of Christ. It is an outward expression of the inner transformation and decision to follow Jesus. Our Kids Baptism Class is for children in 2nd-5th grade who want to be baptized at Venture. This class if offered periodically throughout the year and at least one parent or guardian must attend the class with their child. Contact Michele if you’re interested in registering your child for this class.
