Kids are growing and learning in amazing ways at this stage in life. And we’re ready to introduce them to the wonder of the Word of God. Our weekly environment is designed especially for them. We give kids their first glimpse of what it’s like to be loved by Jesus. Babies are cared for, toddlers are loved on, and preschoolers experience worship and Bible teaching as a large group, then they break into smaller groups for age-specific activities. Our lower elementary students learn about God through an interactive Bible lesson and live worship. They reinforce and apply what they have learned as they build friendships with their small group leaders and peers through interaction, activities and prayer (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Our 4th and 5th grade students explore what God has to say about topics that relate to them in this season of their lives. This class helps pre-teens learn how to take the next step in their own faith journey through personal reflection and application, service and leadership (email@example.com).
HisKids helps kids with a variety of special needs to experience God’s love. Children are paired with a buddy who is there to support them as needed. They will participate with their typical classroom for teaching, worship and activities as much as they are able, but will also access our dedicated HisKids classroom as needed. The HisKids team is ready to create a learning experience that is just right for them. Please contact our HisKids Lead, Lisa Carter, to learn more and to register your child for this program (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We consider it a privilege and a calling to serve your family. You can rest assured your kids are in safe, capable hands. All our staff and volunteers are carefully trained and background-checked before serving in classrooms. In addition, all volunteers follow clear protocols to ensure each child’s safety.
We use a computerized check-in system at three stations on campus. When you arrive, volunteers will help you check in and show you to your child’s room. Check-in opens 20 minutes prior to each service.
Are you new to Venture? Tell us about your family so we can let you know about the resources we have for you and your family.
Venture Kids may be the most strategic and rewarding place in the church to serve! Kids are inquisitive and smart, and they are figuring out how a relationship with God can change their lives.
Some of our leaders love to teach or lead worship, but most of them just want to engage with kids, show them who Jesus is, and connect with other leaders. You don’t have to have any experience with kids- just a willing heart. If this describes you, take the first step here: https://venture.cc/volunteer/volunteer-opportunity/42/
