We get it. The middle school years can be hard and awkward for students who are growing quickly and faced with so much these days.
Venture Middle School is a weekly environment where students experience games, music, and teaching in a large group setting before spending time in life groups. Life groups are made up of a consistent group of students and led by committed adult leaders. These groups are designed to create a safe environment for students to share what’s going on in their lives and ask questions about faith and how to navigate the middle school years. Our hope is to help students connect with their peers and give them a vision of who God is and who they were created to be.
The road through middle school may be a little bumpy—but it doesn’t have to be lonely. Venture students are surrounded by a community that helps them on the journey to discover a faith of their own.
Research indicates that kids who have adults in their lives (other than their parents) have better odds of having an on-going relationship with Jesus. Stepping into Middle School Ministry is stepping into a student’s life and being a part of their formative years. This is an amazing opportunity to be used by God to share His truth during these key years of a student’s faith journey.
We have many volunteer opportunities to serve our Venture Middle School students. If you want to impact the life of a student, and be a part of a great community, jump in and join our team.
Every week we have awesome worship, fun hang time, and awesome games. We teach God’s Word, and our dedicated adult leaders personally connect with students, having group conversations on relevant topics that will challenge and grow their faith. Bonus: Students are welcome to come 15 minutes early and enjoy the environment, not to mention the multiple video game systems!
Life Groups are the place for students to dive deeper in their relationship with Jesus, make lifelong friends, and connect with a leader who can make an impact on their lives.
