Venture has a long history of ministry in the Bay Area. Initially started as Los Gatos Christian Church, our roots go back to 1884. Our campus is nestled in the hills on the edge of Silicon Valley, and our mission is to see the Silicon Valley reached for Christ.
As a commitment to our Kids Ministry, we’re currently in the middle of a full renovation of our Kids Ministry wing. The brand-new space is set to be finished this year, and we’re excited about the added boost this will bring to our already amazing Kids Ministry.
Venture has an attendance of over 2500 weekly, with over 400 kids involved in our babies through fifth-grade programming during our two Sunday morning services. We’re a theologically conservative church focusing on reaching our multi-ethnic neighbors in the five miles around our campus.
Venture is passionate about reaching kids and their families for Jesus. We believe that a healthy Kids Ministry is an integral part of a thriving church. We’re looking for someone with the experience and passion to lead our Kid’s Ministry team. The Kid’s Pastor will lead our Kid’s staff team giving shape to an overall ministry philosophy for reaching kids and growing their commitment to Jesus.
The right candidate will have a contagious passion for reaching the multiethnic families in our area for Jesus. They will have experience and insight into the best practices for a thriving Kids Ministry. They will also understand that volunteers are the lifeblood of a healthy ministry and will be capable of leading engaging programs through volunteer teams.
