Dia de Unidad 2022
Dia de Unidad (Day of Unity) is a festival hosted by Venture and Healing Grove to bring hope to low-income families in the area. We will be providing food, prayers, kids’ activities, music, family portraits, sports, and more!

Mobile Food Pantry - Senior Apartments
Venture has adopted two mobile food pantries in partnership with CityTeam.
Le Mirador Senior Apartments: Every Second Tuesday from 2pm – 3:30pm
Sienna Senior Apartments: Every Second Thursday from 10am – 12:30pm
Women & Children's Shelter Renovations
We are now looking for a team of 8-10 people who will renovate an apartment for at-risk women and children. It should take about 6 weekends to complete the project. No specialized skills needed.

Foster the City
Did you know Venture actively supports foster care in the area? At Venture we have a team of Foster Families and Support Friends already helping some of these vulnerable children, but we are looking for more members to get involved!

FCA- Mentors
FCA is looking for mature believers who can mentor college athletes who serve through FCA to reach the youth in the area.

CLOTHES DRIVE & FOOD GIFT CARD DRIVE
Drop off new warm winter clothes: 12/3 (Please don’t bring anything blue or red, however, blue jeans are okay!)
We need the following items in all sizes from 3 year children – adults 3X:
– plain T-shirts with nothing on them
– plain hoodies, sweatshirts and jackets
– socks and underwear
– shoes
– plain pants, sweatpants
– plain hats/beanies, gloves and mittens
In addition to the clothing drive, Danny will be collecting gift cards from the following businesses that are located in the neighborhood that he works in to help feed the families in need.
-McDonald’s, Popeye’s, Taco Bell, Burger King, Carl’s Jr., In N Out, Jack in the Box, Subway, Little Caesar’s, Panda Express and Domino’s pizza
HOLIDAY MEALS FOR FOSTER YOUTH

Please sign up for a food slot and drop off on Thursday, December 21st at Help One Child: 1400 Parkmoor Ave Suite 115, San Jose between 12-2 pm (alternative time could be arranged, if necessary).
