Since we believe God designed marriage to be the most intimate, secure, and pleasurable relationship two people can have on this side of heaven, we want to equip you with the best possible tools so that you can have the marriage that God intended.
Prerequisites & process to be married at Venture:
- Actively involved at Venture.
- Biblical qualification-agreement with the following: Our Beliefs: In accordance with God’s Word and Church history, we define marriage as the union of one man and one woman. According to Genesis 1:28 and 2:24, marriage was intended by God to be a lifelong covenant relationship between a man and a woman. This definition of marriage was confirmed by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 19:3-6; Mark 10:6-9 and reiterated by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:31-33 and Hebrews 13:4. This definition of marriage has also been affirmed throughout Church history by leaders of the Christian faith.
- Before getting married at Venture, couples must go through eight (8) sessions of premarital coaching. We then can connect you with a Venture pastor to perform your ceremony.
- Date availability: As you can imagine, Venture is big, with many ministry events. There is a high demand for space, and our scheduling options are limited. Ministry activities and events are our highest priority. Therefore, we encourage you to apply for a calendar date, but realize there is no guarantee until the date is approved by Venture’s executive team.
